Business Development Manager for Generative AI in the Public Sector – Latin America, Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Laura serves as the Business Development Manager for Generative Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector for Latin America at Amazon Web Services (AWS). She leads initiatives aimed at assisting governments in their digital adoption and transformation processes. With a robust background in business development within technology firms, Laura is dedicated to creating and inspiring positive impacts at both local and regional levels.
In her current role, she collaborates closely with national and local governments across Latin America to support the development and implementation of digital transformation strategies that leverage Generative Artificial Intelligence. Her efforts are focused on accelerating innovation and enabling the delivery of more efficient, citizen-centered public services.
Prior to her tenure at AWS, Laura spearheaded strategies to address the digital skills gap and foster cultural change within public sector organizations.
Before joining AWS, she excelled in leadership positions within NGOs and technology companies, where she directed the development of corporate citizenship and sustainability strategies across Latin America. Laura also represents the Latin American region on the Global Board of Women at Amazon and is a co-founding member of the Vital Voices Alumni Network in Argentina, actively participating in initiatives that promote female leadership and gender equality.
Laura holds a degree in International Studies from Torcuato Di Tella University and has postgraduate qualifications in Local Development and Social Economy, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
